Junior Designer - Media & Publishing

We are seeking a Junior Designer to support a consumer revenue creative team within a leading media and publishing organization. This role will help develop and adapt digital marketing creative across websites, email, apps, paid media, and other consumer-facing channels.

This is a great opportunity for an early-career designer who wants to build experience working on high-profile editorial and lifestyle brands while supporting subscription and membership marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation of digital assets, including graphics, animations, video, and other multimedia content
• Resize, adapt, and update campaign creative for different platforms and channels
• Assist senior designers and the Art Director throughout the creative process
• Ensure creative assets follow established brand standards and visual guidelines
• Collaborate with creative and project management teams to meet deadlines and campaign needs
• Organize and maintain raw media and finished creative assets
• Stay current on design trends, digital best practices, and emerging creative tools

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of design experience; recent graduates with a strong portfolio may also be considered
• Portfolio demonstrating digital or campaign design work and strong attention to detail
• Understanding of typography, color theory, UX, and general design principles
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects
• Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, UX/UI, or social media design is a plus
• Knowledge of ADA-compliant design is preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
